# DoneToday

> DoneToday is a New Zealand online marketplace that connects people who need odd jobs done around the home with trusted local tradies and handypeople. It is launching soon, starting in Hamilton (Waikato). Website: https://donetoday.co.nz

## How it works

- Clients post a job for free, describing what they need done.
- Local pros in the matching trade respond, chat with the client and send a quote.
- The client compares quotes and picks a pro; the pro confirms and can book a date and time.
- After the job, the client leaves a rating and review.

## Pricing

- Clients: always free to post jobs and get quotes.
- Pros: $49.99 + GST per month after a free trial. No commission on jobs.
- Founding pro offer: pros who register by 28 February 2027 get their first 6 months free. Pros who join after that get 3 months free.

## Trust and safety

- Before a pro can send quotes, they upload a document showing their name and address (for example a recent utility bill or bank statement), which the DoneToday team checks.
- Pros can add trade certificates or licences to their profile.
- A client's exact address is only shared with the pro they choose; other pros see the suburb.

## Trades covered

More than 60 trades and services, including plumbing, electrical work, gas fitting, painting, gardening, cleaning, handyman jobs, furniture assembly, flooring, fencing, building, arboriculture and appliance repair.
